With the release of the Growing Together Expansion Pack, there's more depth to Sims' likes and dislikes, as well as new social and situation events. Updated March 30, 2023, by Jouanna Bondakji: The Sims 4 is still having different packs made that add depth and realism to your experience, though many players argue that a lot of the things in them should've already been in the base game.

Some of these are just for cosmetic purposes, some add silly fun, and some make your game even more realistic. Luckily, the Sims community is full of talented people who create custom hairstyles, clothing, furniture, and even gameplay tweaks. I love to use it with My Little Neighborhood because I can have up to three functional venues on one lot.Related: The Sims 4 Mods You Didn't Know You Needed Until Now Saleabration - allows your sim to run a business without Get to Work. It is great for keeping up with storylines. Ink for Yourself Custom Journal - A journal all sims can use. More Fun Stuff - makes mire activities in the game fun for sims to do (without them being a Like) More buyable venue - run and own more business using GTW My little neighborhood - allows you to have a functioning park or cafe on the same lot as your residence. I also use srslysims cooking overhaul for more realistic grocery prices and meal ingredients. Real Estate (RE) - Is a real estate mod which helps tour sims price, market, and sell their homes instead of just jumping to a new house. You can store income in each seperate sim's account which will be seperate from your household funds using direct deposit. Sim National Bank (SNB) - Allows you to have a functioning banks staffed by NPCs who assist your character in opening an account, managing withdrawals and deposits, and taking out/paying loans. It also adds more precision to inheritance. Mortem - completely revamps the death process and adds functioning funeral homes. The SimRealist's mods are great for quality of life mods:
